The Daycroft School was a coeducational private boarding school founded by Sarah Pyle Smart in 1928 in Stamford, Connecticut and later relocated to Greenwich, Connecticut.[1] There, it eventually occupied the Rosemary Hall campus from 1971 until Daycroft's closing in 1991. Although the school had no official tie with the Christian Science Church, students were required to come from Christian Science families where at least one parent or close relative was a member of The Mother Church or a branch Church of Christ, Scientist.[citation needed]
