Tewar

Tewar, sometimes referred to as Tiaur or Teur , is a village in the Mohali District (previously Rupnagar District) of the state of Punjab, India. The population is about 3000, according to the 2001 Census. It is a few kilometers from the Kharar-Kurali Road. Tewar is the main village among all neighbouring villages viz. Radiala , Bhajauli , Ghataur , Palheri , Rurkee kham. in surrounding region. It has a good market having Chemist, Textile and general shops.
