Quality Reference Guide (McDonald's)

QRG, or Quality Reference Guide, is a book available to McDonald's employees containing details of all food products sold in their stores (excluding promotional items). The QRG is updated yearly or bi-yearly and is available to order by every McDonald's worldwide, with each QRG usually being designed to the specific region or country.

The QRG includes information of product cooking times, holding times, cooking temperatures, product builds, visual descriptions, shelflifes, quality, sizes and weights as well as troubleshooting information, calibration settings, production modes, suggested travel paths, template employee floor positioning plans and hospitality expectations.

It seeks to promote the Gold Standard, and if followed the products sold will be as intended by McDonalds Corporation.
