Roger Lloyd Pack (born 8 February 1944) is an English actor.

Career

Lloyd Pack attended Bedales School in Hampshire, where he achieved 3 A Level passes and RADA. On British television, he is known for his role as Colin "Trigger" Ball in the BBC sitcom "Only Fools And Horses". To international audiences, he recently achieved fame starring as Barty Crouch, Sr. in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire", he has appeared on Doctor Who, and is also known for his role in "The Vicar of Dibley" as Owen Newitt.

He is sometimes credited as Roger Lloyd-Pack (with a hyphen) and occasionally as Owen Lloyd Pack. It has been suggested that Owen is a reference to his popular role in "The Vicar of Dibley".

Personal life

Lloyd Pack was born in London, the son of Ulrike (née Pulay), a travel agent, and Charles Lloyd Pack, who was also an actor. He has one daughter Emily Lloyd who is also an actress, and has three sons: Spencer, Hartley and Louis. In his spare time, Lloyd Pack enjoys snooker, yoga and playing the piano. He currently resides in Kentish Town, North London.

Lloyd Pack speaks French, German and Italian and achieved A-Levels in English, French and Latin. He supports Tottenham Hotspur. In June 2008 he appeared as a guest on The Politics Show (BBC2), arguing the case for better integrated public transport - specifically railways.
