The Punta Gorda, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area is a Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) consisting of Charlotte County in the state of Florida in the United States. The principal city in the MSA is Punta Gorda. In 2005 the population of the MSA was 154,030.
