The song was quite popular in the U.S., becoming the first song by a British rap artist to ever reach #1 on MTV's "TRL", as well as being heard in a TV spot for Verizon Wireless. In addition it debuted at #81 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, making it Lady Sovereign's first single to chart in the U.S. In 2007, the song debuted at #48 on the UK Singles Chart, later peaking at #26, becoming her highest charting solo hit to date. Blender magazine ranked it as the 32nd best song of 2006.
