Gary Imlach

Gary Imlach

Gary Imlach is a British author, journalist and broadcaster, specialising in sports. Imlach is particularly associated with non-mainstream sports, working for many years as the face of Channel 4's coverage of American Football and the Tour de France, having transferred to ITV when the station bought the television rights to the cycle race. He has also hosted the late night sports chat show "Live and Dangerous", and presently presents ITV's coverage of the Tour de France as well as their Super Bowl coverage. He also does links between programmes on the British version of ESPN Classic.

In 2005 Imlach's biography of Stewart Imlach (his father), "My Father and Other Working Class Football Heroes", won the William Hill Sports Book of the Year.
