Jeremy Sapienza

Jeremy Sapienza

Jeremy Sapienza is an American political writer and thinker. He is an internet entrepreneur and, as the founder of Anti-State.Com, a leading spokesman for contemporary market anarchism. He is also the main proponent of Control Decay Theory, which holds that as wealth grows, spheres of control diminish. Born in New York, Sapienza grew up in South Florida, and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. [ [http://bushwickbk.com/archives/author/jeremy PAGENAME] , BuschwickBK.com, August 2, 2008.] He is openly gay.cite web |url=http://www.lewrockwell.com/decoster/decoster26.html |title=Denizen Diversity |first=Karen |last=De Coster |work=LewRockwell.com |accessdate=2007-08-10]

His philosophy is a blend of thought of American individualist anarchists such as Josiah Warren, Lysander Spooner, and Benjamin Tucker, British liberal anarchists, such as Auberon Herbert and Herbert Spencer and French laissez-faire liberals such as Frédéric Bastiat.

Sapienza has written for libertarian websites such as LewRockwell.com, though he rejects the libertarian label. He is the Senior Editor of Antiwar.com and BushwickBK.com, and has been profiled in "The New York Times" as a prominent Bushwick blogger. [Beyer, Gregory.
