Carrick-on-Shannon (lga|Cora Droma Rúisc) is situated in County Leitrim in Ireland on the County Roscommon border. It is the largest town in County Leitrim.

Geography

As its name implies the town is located on the river Shannon which is linked to the Erne via the Shannon-Erne Waterway.

Transport

Politics
