Methil

Methil is the family name of a section of people who are currently centered in and around the village of Chittlancherry,Palakkad,kerala,India.All members of this family are Malayali Nairs.

The family is said to have descended from the region of 'pudiangam' which is located between Chittlancherry and Thrippaloor.Members of the methil family are all well educated and reside in many parts of the country and abroad with some members in the U.S.Neverthless a large concentration reside in Chennai,Tamil Nadu,India.
