Paul Waterhouse

Paul Waterhouse

Paul Waterhouse, (October 29, 1861 - December 19, 1924), son and business partner of Alfred Waterhouse and father of Michael Waterhouse, all architects, designed buildings in England.

His work included:
*Girton College, University of Cambridge

*In Birmingham:
**114-116 Colmore Row, the former Atlas Assurance building IoEgrade|216989|II

*In Manchester:
**Refuge Assurance Building, Manchester (now the Meridien Palace Hotel), (extension of his father's original work) IoEgrade|454854|II*
**completing the Christie Library of the University of Manchester between 1895 and 1898
**Whitworth Hall of the University of Manchester, completed in 1902 IoEgrade|454848|II*
**extending the Manchester Museum from 1911-27 (the later part completed by his son, Michael Waterhouse)
