Voronezh ( _ru. Воро́неж, IPA2|vɘ'ronʲiʂ) is a
riverin Tambov, Lipetsk, and Voronezh Oblasts in Russia, a left tributaryof the Don. The Voronezh River is 342 km in length. The area of its drainage basinis 21,600 km². It freezes up in the first half of December and stays under the ice until late March. The lower reaches of the river are navigable. The cities of Lipetskand Voronezhare located on the Voronezh River.
