Pathardi is a city and a municipal council in Ahmadnagar district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Geography

Pathardi is located at coord|19.17|N|75.18|E| [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/16/Pathardi.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Pathardi] ] . It has an average elevation of 533 metres (1748 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Pathardi had a population of 22,827. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Pathardi has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%. Male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 64%. In Pathardi, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Rajeev Rajale represents Pathardi in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, and is also a youth congress member.
