The Spanish league system consists of the following levels:

* Primera división (20 clubs)
* Segunda división (22 clubs)
* Segunda división B (4 groups of 20 teams each)
* Tercera división (18 groups of 20 teams)
* Divisiones Regionales (60 in total)
