Kshirpai also known as Khirpai, is a town and a municipality in West Midnapore in the Indian state of West Bengal.

Geography

Kshirpai is located at coord|22.7|N|87.62|E| [ [http://www.fallingrain.com/world/IN/28/Khirpai.html Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Kshirpai] ] . It has an average elevation of 7 metres (26 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census [GR|India] , Kshirpai had a population of 14,545. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%.
