"I Can't Hear You" is the name of a song written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King. It became a hit in 1964 when released as a single by Betty Everett.

King released her own version of the song on her 1970 album "Writer". Versions have also been recorded by such artists as Lulu, The Newbeats, and Dusty Springfield.

In 1976, Helen Reddy released her version as a single as "I Can't Hear You No More." It became a #29 Billboard Hot 100 hit for her (charted as a double A-side with "Music Is My Life"), and her last of eight #1 songs on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart (following "Delta Dawn", "Leave Me Alone (Ruby Red Dress)", "Keep on Singing", "You and Me Against the World", "Angie Baby", "Emotion", and "Ain't No Way To Treat a Lady"). [Whitburn, Joel (1996). The Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits, 6th Edition (Billboard Publications)] However, Reddy has been quoted as saying she was not fond of the song at all, and that she felt pressured to record it because her record company wanted her to have a disco hit.
