Rock Creek is a tributary of the Monocacy River in south central Pennsylvania and north central Maryland in the United States. Rock Creek and Marsh Creek join below Gettysburg and the Gettysburg Battlefield to form the Monocacy River. The height of land between Rock & Marsh Creeks is the site of the Battle of Gettysburg.

Rock Creek is Cumberland Township's Eastern border with Mount Joy Township in south central Pennsylvania and joins with Marsh Creek to [http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=monocacy+river+%40+39.719863,-77.217236&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl form] the Monocacy River at the Mason-Dixon line near Harney, Maryland. Rock Creek flows near Battle of Gettysburg sites, including the Culp's Hill area of combat, the Benner's Hill artillery location, and Barlow's Knoll near the Harrisburg Rd.

Features of Rock Creek include the White Rocks cliff and the riffles below the site of the [http://www.emmitsburg.net/archive_list/articles/history/stories/reflections/barrlow.htm 1798 Black's Mill Dam] , which was rebuilt in the summer and fall of 1937 by the Adams County Fish and Game Association with help from the Works Progress Administration.
