Bilasipara is a town and a town area committee in Dhubri district in the state of Assam, India.

Geography

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, [GR|India] Bilasipara had a population of 31,090. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Bilasipara has an average literacy rate of 68%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 74% and female literacy of 62%. 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.

Politics

Bilasipara consists of two assembly constituencies: Bilasipara East and Bilasipara West, both of which are part of Dhubri (Lok Sabha constituency). [cite web
