Visimajoris is a fictional character appearing in the Marvel Comics universe. He is a demon who has clashed with Doctor Strange.

Publication history

Visimajoris first appeared in "Doctor Strange" Vol. 2 #24 (August 1977), and was created by Jim Starlin and Al Milgrom.

Fictional character biography

Visimajoris served the sorcerers known as The Creators, bringing it into conflict with Doctor Strange. The Creators' plan involved turning all the stars into humanoid beings. When Doctor Strange attempts to enter Creation II, the base of the Creators, Visimajoris appears in an attempt to dissuade him from his seemingly pointless task. The demon uses its main power on Strange to split and double . Soon there was 1,024 Doctor Stranges. As Visimajoris prepares to kill these entities, Apalla, one of the stars that had taken human form, comes to the rescue. Apalla blasts Visimajoris, leaving the demon a burning corpse. Doctor Strange becomes whole once again.

Powers and abilities

Visimajoris can split a person's soul, again and again, creating hundreds of duplicates, each one that much weaker then the original. Visimajoris is also capable of firing mystical energy blasts. Its eyes are the focus of its power.
