Censier - Daubenton is a station of the Paris Métro.

Prior to 1965, the station was known as "Censier-Daubenton aux cuirs" (Censier - Daubenton leather market), in reference to the leather market along the Bièvre River (now covered in the area).

Louis-Jean-Marie Daubenton was a naturalist who collaborated with Buffon on his "Histoire Naturelle" (Natural History). He was the first director of the nearby natural history museum, the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle. Censier is the name of the locality.
