Adam Hunter (born 18 June 1981) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League.

He was recruited as the number 29 draft pick in the 1999 AFL Draft from Swan Districts. Adam made his debut for the West Coast Eagles in Round 22, 2000 against Melbourne in which the Eagles lost.

Hunter wears number 39. He weighs 81 kg (179 lb) and stands at 190 cm (6 ft 3 in) tall. He usually plays in the backline playing, especially on opposition key forwards, although he is often pushed forward by coach John Worsfold to grab a couple goals when the team needs them.

Hunter rates his 2005 qualifying final heroics against the Sydney Swans as his career highlight, where he turned the match around with two goals. He did the same in the Grand Final a few weeks later, but the Swans also came back and went on to win.

As of 2006, Hunter has enjoyed quite a well year and is still being used at both ends of the football ground. Lately, Hunter kicked four goals against the Adelaide Crows which elevated the Eagles to a grand final rematch against the Sydney Swans. He kicked the final goal for West Coast in the 2006 Grand Final which turned out to be the matchwinner for the Eagles...
