Bruce Patrick Bannon (March 11, 1951 - May 6, 2008) was a former professional American football player. He played linebacker for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League in 1973 and 1974.

While at Penn State University, Bannon was named All-America and defensive MVP of the 1972 Cotton Bowl. He graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in geology.
