Hamilton Fish V (also known as Hamilton Fish, Jr.; born ca. 1952) is an American publisher, politician, and philanthropist. He has been known under varying numerals because several of his antecedents went by the name "Hamilton Fish, Jr." for much of their lives, including his father and grandfather.

Fish ran for Congress in 1994 to succeed his father Hamilton Fish IV but lost to Sue W. Kelly. He had previously run unsuccessfully in another district in 1988.

With other investors, Hamilton Fish V purchased "The Nation" out of bankruptcy in 1977 and sold it in 1987, but remains connected to the magazine as president of The Nation Institute. He is also an adviser to George Soros.

While four previous generations of Fish's family were all Republicans, Fish ran for the United States Congress as a Democrat, his politics being left of those of his father and grandfather, Hamilton Fish, Sr..
