  3. ^ As of 2008, YMCA Scuba has dissolved. Many YMCA Instructors are assimilating into other agencies, such as PDIC, IDEA, MDEA, SSI, NAUI and PADI. Of particular note is the formation of the Scuba Educators International http://www.seidiving.org/ , started by YMCA Instructors intending to be a sort of continuum from YMCA Scuba.
