Julie Silver is an folk musician who has been travelling across America and performing for the last 15 years. She has released six albums which have sold over 60,000 copies total. She was raised in Boston, Massachusetts and started playing music at the age of eight. Her music is predominantly Jewish in nature, and she sings in both Hebrew and English. She also performs songs that are both written by her, as well as traditional Jewish folk songs that are not necessarily written by her. She identifies as a lesbian, and currently lives in Los Angeles with her partner and child.
