Pop!

Pop!

Pop! were a UK pop group consisting of members Glenn Ball, Hannah Lewis, Jaime Tinkler, and Jade McGuire. The group was formed in 2004 when they were signed by Pete Waterman. They released three singles under the Sony/BMG record label and disbanded in early 2005, due to poor record sales.

Their debut single 'Heaven and Earth' was withdrawn from the charts because the single contained a track whose length was longer than permitted for that format.

In March 2006 Ball, a former member of the group, leaked a snippet of a song entitled "Don't Let It Go To Your Head" on his official website. It was a track meant to be a part of their unreleased album. The song 'Xanadu' originally performed by Olivia Newton John and ELO was also rumoured to be a single, as mentioned on their official website.

Glenn Ball was a backing dancer for Mimi, in A Song For Europe 2003, with her song 'Ever Since That Night' which ended 3rd in the televoting. Since then, he has continued his dancing career , having performed as a dancer at Kylie Minogue's 'Showgirl'and 'Homecoming' tours.

Jamie Tinkler had a brief return to the music/ television scene during the third series of X-Factor as part of a boyband. Louis Walsh decided to put the group through but had to replace them with 'Eton Road' once he discovered they already had a recording contract.

Jade McGuire had a baby girl in July 2006 called Mia
