USS Puerto Rico (CB-5)

USS "Puerto Rico" (CB–5) was an "Alaska" class large cruiser which was cancelled prior to construction for the United States Navy during World War II.

Planned as the fifth unit of the "Alaska" class, "Puerto Rico" was authorized on 19 July 1940, and was to be built by the New York Shipbuilding Corporation of Camden, New Jersey; but construction was cancelled on 24 June 1943.
