] The event features kite flying, kite workshops, kite shows, kite sports (such as kite boarding), and a fireworks show. The 2005 festival marked the 7th annual Kites on Ice festival. In 2006, the festival was put on hiatus to reexamine the event and fix some financial issues. It is possible that with the event's return, there could be a price of admission.
