Hon'yabakei, Ōita

Hon'yabakei, Ōita

is a town located in Shimoge District, Ōita, Japan. On March 1 2005, Hon'yabakei, along with the towns of Yamakuni and Yabakei, and the village of Sankō, were absorbed by the city of Nakatsu.

As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 3,721 and the density of 43.54 persons per km². The total area was 85.46 km².
