Juliana M. Catlin (born 1955) is a well-known interior designer in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Catlin received her Bachelor of Design degree in 1976 from the College of Architecture, University of Florida, and has passed the NCIDQ qualifying examination.

Catlin Interiors

After working in the business for eight years, she founded Catlin Interiors, Inc. in 1984 as a full-service interior design firm in Jacksonville. The 11-member interior design group includes highly trained and experienced designers proficient in all aspects of the interior design process. The firm offers services in both residential & commercial interiors, specializing in customized residential construction and hospitality projects. Catlin and her company have been responsible for many noteworthy and award-winning projects throughout the Southeast. Her work has been featured in Interior Design, Southern Living, Florida Design, and Better Homes and Gardens magazines. She is in demand as a nationally recognized speaker on the interior design profession and is frequently quoted in articles about interior design. Professional Involvement

*Ms. Catlin has held numerous offices of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), including national president from 1999-2000, and is a Fellow of the Society. She is the current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ASID Foundation [http://www.asid.org/NewsRoom/080305+Release.htm] and received the ASID National Presidential Citation for Service in 2006 in appreciation for her service in that capacity.
*She is chair of the College of Architecture's interior design program advisory board at the University of Florida in Gainesville, and was honored with the college's "Alumni of Distinction" award in 1999.

Awards

*The North Florida Chapter of ASID awarded her the first Warren G. Arnett Achievement Award in 2004, first place in commercial design competition for the Cullasaja Club in Highlands, North Carolina and received first place awards in Professional Design in four of the last seven years.

* The Florida Trust for Historic Preservation bestowed the Project Award for Outstanding Achievement of Rehabilitative Reuse for Catlin’s work on Lynch Management Executive Offices.
*The firm was named the "#1 design firm" by Jacksonville magazine and the Jacksonville Business Journal in 2006.
*Mrs. Catlin has received the Bud Merle Foundation Award in 2000.
