Brian Paul Kingman (born July 27, 1954 in Los Angeles, California) was a Major League Baseball pitcher from 1979 to 1983 for the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants. Kingman's career stats include a 23-45 record in 82 career games. He pitched 551.2 innings, giving up 575 hits. Kingman's "claim to fame" is that he lost 20 games in the 1980 season and remained the most current pitcher to do so for 23 years until Mike Maroth lost 21 games for the Detroit Tigers in 2003. Brian Kingman's son Richard James Kingman is the longtime partner of Irish television host Graham Norton. The couple currently live in Derby, England.
