Carfax Abbey is a Philadelphia-based Gothic industrial metal band that started out in 1997. They have appeared on several Gothic Rock compilation albums such as "Music from the Succubus Club", "Asleep by Dawn", "", and "Dancing in the Dark 2006".

The name of the band derives from the Abbey in Purfleet purchased by Count Dracula in the Bram Stoker novel Dracula.

"It Screams Disease" is the band's first commercially distributed album, following several successful self-releases which are now highly sought collector's items. "It Screams Disease" consists of entirely new songs as well as an updated version of the band's cover of "Cry Little Sister," the iconic track from the classic horror film "The Lost Boys."

Released October 23rd, 2007 on Dancing Ferret Discs.
