Jason Roe (born 13 March 1984) is an indigenous Australian rules football player for the Brisbane Lions.

Originally playing for Nightcliff Football Club, then the Cairns City Cobras in the 2001-2002 seasons, Roe was selected in the draft by the Collingwood Football Club and placed on its rookie list. He was delisted in 2003 having not played an AFL game, and moved to North Adelaide.

He was then given a second chance at AFL level and placed on the Brisbane Lions rookie list in the 2006 Rookie Draft.

In his debut match (against the Sydney Swans) Roe lined up in the backline against Sydney champion Barry Hall. Although lightly built, Roe performed admirably and ran off Hall on several occasions, receiving praise from coach Leigh Matthews [http://lions.com.au/default.asp?pg=news&spg=display&articleid=263808] .

Many Brisbane Lions fans often call him "Mal Michael the Second" as they have similar playing styles and similar body build.
