Thomas Sumpter Comprehensive School was a Secondary school, or Senior School, in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, England. The Head Teacher of the school was Mrs Angela Briggs. There is currently an amalgamation between Thomas Sumpter and South Leyes School. Thomas Sumpter is being demolished and a new school will be built on the school field, facing John Leggott College.
North Lincolnshire Council are still struggling to find the money to build the new school, and at the current time Thomas Sumpter and South Leys will stay for now but just renamed, by the looks of things for a few more years to come yet.
This school is now officially closed. It is opened under the name Melior Community College (North Site)
