"In Outer Space" is the twelfth album by Sparks. Released in 1983, it was their most successful album in the USA. This was mostly due to the modest hit "Cool Places" - a duet with The Go Gos member Jane Wiedlin. The single reached #49 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album made #88 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
