CHS Athletics

Snow Canyon athletics have been very successful recently, with the 2006 Girl's Volleyball team claiming the 3A state championship in five games against cross-town rival Dixie. The 2006 Football team also competed stronger than most predicted, but lost to Bear River in the state championship game.

On November 3, 2007, Snow Canyon's Volleyball team secured a Title game rematch with Dixie, this time in the 4A division, In their path to the championship game, Snow Canyon also defeated Murray and Bonneville.

Snow Canyon High School has maintained a fierce rivalry with the other southern Utah schools in Region Nine since its inception in 1994. Most notable are its rivalries with the Panthers of Pine View High School the Flyers of Dixie High School and the Tigers of Hurricane High School. Sporting Events involving either of the two schools are often some of the most exciting events of the Snow Canyon school year. Also in Region 9 are the Canyon View Falcons, and the Cedar Redmen. In 2008, Snow Canyon will gain a new foe and rival in the Thunder of Desert Hills High, which will draw the majority of its population from students living in the Dixie and Pine View boundaries.
