Following the departure of Baby Stafford from GUN, Scott joined up with his former band mate, as drummer and producer for Staffords new band, Raindog. In the mid nineties Scott formed Bond where he joined forces with Martin Slattery. In early 1999 he joined Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros originally on bass and later moved to the guitar. Scott was with The Mescaleros until Joe Strummer's untimely death in December 2002. He co-wrote numerous songs on "Global a Go-Go" and "Streetcore". Scott also co-produced both albums with Martin Slattery before going on to produce albums for Paul Heaton(Beautiful South), The Miniatures and The Marble Index.
