Bei-Alla and Musa Tsechoyev

Ingush brothers, Musa and Bei-Alla Tsechoyev were identified as two of the hostagetakers in the 2004 Beslan school hostage crisis.

Musa, 35 at the time of the attack, owned the GAZ-66 that the hostagetakers drove to the school. After the attacks, 16-year old neighbour Marina Korigova was arrested on suspicion of being involved, after her phone number was found in a cellphone believed to belong to the hostagetakers - authorities alleged that her own phone showed she had phoned Musa 16 times. She was later released. [http://www.chechentimes.org/en/press/?id=25436]

Bei-Alla, 31 at the time of the attack, had a prior conviction for possessing illegal firearms. His body was identified in November 2004.

A third brother, 25-year old Hussein, was interviewed by "The Guardian"'s Nick Paton Walsh, as well as their uncle Magomed.
