Patcham High School is one of nine secondary schools in Brighton, located in the village of Patcham. It has specialist status as an Arts College, and has around 1,000 pupils. The current head teacher is Paula Sargent. [ [http://www.patchamhigh.brighton-hove.sch.uk/index.asp Welcome to Patcham High School ] ]

The school was founded on 7 July 1990, when Margaret Hardy school for girls and Patcham Fawcett school for boys were combined. The school is located on Ladies Mile Road in Patcham.

Patcham High School was created from the last two single sex schools in Brighton, and serves the north of Brighton, situated next to the South Downs. The new logo is that of the Chhatri, an Indian War Memorial. The logo was changed, along with the uniform, in 2006. The previous logo represented a rainbow (the arch being a repeated architectural feature in the school building).

Ofsted Reports

The school in 2006 was placed on notice to improve due to poor reports from OFSTED, the school inspectors.Fact|date=May 2008
