Cooperative Program

Cooperative Program

The Cooperative Program is a unified funds collection program of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) designed to support SBC seminaries, mission agencies and denominational ministries. The Cooperative Program is funded directly by SBC churches and then it distributes the money to individual ministries. In this way the Cooperative Program's operations can be compared to the way the United Way functions.

Among the agencies supported are:
* Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisville, Kentucky
* Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Wake Forest, North Carolina
* Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Fort Worth, Texas
* Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Kansas City, Missouri
* New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, in New Orleans, Louisiana
* Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, in Mill Valley, California
* International Mission Board
* North American Mission Board
* Ethics and Religious Liberty Council
