Character Highlights

The Case of the Bulletproof Waldo

Turbo Tu-Tone is one of Big Boss' most closest henchmen working alongside of Berserko and Rock Krusher in performing all sorts of criminal acts such as stealing Boxoid robots in "The Case of the Big Bad Boxoids" and kidnapping BulletProof in "The Case of the Bulletproof Waldo". In such a caper, Turbo sneaks into Bulletproof's green car and seize control over it leading Bulletproof trapped inside it all the way to his garage where Turbo used a large power magnet to pinned Bulletproof way up in the air. Later on, Turbo sends out a little robotic insect to dismantle Bulletproof's body chip by chip, while he goes out to rob a bank. Fortunately, Bowser and Blitz came along, destroyed the insect, and rescued Bulletproof. They returned him to the precinct for a showdown against Bulletproof's robotic double. He sends the faker to the scrap heap and sends out his C.O.P.S. just in time to bag Turbo and send him all the way to the slammer.

The Case of C.O.P.S. File #1 (Part 2)

Turbo participated in the first of many criminal capers Big Boss has planned in part 2 of "The Case of C.O.P.S. File #1", in which Turbo pilots a large circular vessel known as The Ultimate Crime Machine (UCM) created by Dr. BadVibes. It looks somewhat like an unusual ceiling fan or a flying saucer with 4 cables which attaches itself to a building target, sending shockwaves all around the bottom edges to break it apart of its foundation, and carry it up into the sky. A large clamper holding on to Buzzbomb would come out of the vessel. Buzzbomb will use his buzzsaw to open up the building like a can opener and earn his steel wool cupcakes along the way. Then another clamper would come and heist up all the contents inside the vessel. Then the UCM would drop off the building elsewhere on a certain spot, regardless of what's underneath it.

Turbo, Rock Krusher, Buzzbomb, and Dr. BadVibes tested it out by going to where Badvibes used to live in and picked up part of the run-down apartment building and used the vacuum to sucked up the rest of BadVibes belongings. While it's done, LongArm and Hardtop arrived to the area to help Bulletproof with the investigation involving an armor truck robbery and look for clues to help solve a heist that was done by Buzzbomb and Turbo, who went in the Crooks Roadster to rob an armor truck of its cash by blasting a hole in the truck with special armor piercing bullets while Buzzbomb's special vacuum sucked in all the money that were flying from the truck.

However, LongArm and Hardtop find themselves both carried up along with the part of the building that was emptied of Badvibes' belongings and later was dropped off in the water off the coast of Empire City. Bullseye flies in to rescue the two C.O.P.S. and take them off to safety. As Bulletproof introduced the C.O.P.S. to Mayor Davis and Commissioner Highwaters, Big Boss intervenes and issues the ultimatum: release Berserko from jail or he'll destroy Empire City with the UCM. Bulletproof has captured Berserko and put him in prison a while back while recovering from his injuries at the hospital. Big Boss demands his nephew's release and for Bulletproof to turn himself in...or else! Mayor Davis did ordered the release Berserko from prison, only for Big Boss to put up with Berserko's childish antics he displays in front of surrounding news reporters (Whitney Morgan with her head behind the viewers among them) and police officers whether he likes it or not, though. Bulletproof, on the other hand, refuses to yield to the other part of Big Boss' demands.

Big Boss, impressed by BadVibes' performance and his invention, formed a partnership with him and orders Turbo and Rock Krusher use the vessel to heist the Federal Mint where the money is being printed at. The C.O.P.S. is sent to take down the UCM while Hardtop and Mainframe are to stay put at the precinct "and miss all the fun?" as Hardtop puts it. The C.O.P.S. head to intercept the UCM, but Buzzbomb brought down the "Air Raid", forcing the Bullseye and Mirage to eject from it and parachute down to the ground. Unfortunately, Bullseye and Mirage were captured, brought inside the UCM, and made prisoner by Turbo, Buzzbomb, and Krusher who went off to heist the Mint. Bulletproof and Longarm was already there at the mint trying to get in but the doors are locked. The mint is closed for the day. Bulletproof suspects the crooks will be going after the mint with the UCM. Sure enough, the UCM came hovering over the building a moment later. Longarm radio the C.O.P.S. team to report to the crime scene already in progress. No thanks to the UCM that dropped the cables down and picked up the mint with Bulletproof on the steps and finds himself inside it. As the C.O.P.S. follow the UCM carrying and plundering the Empire Mint with Bulletproof stuck inside it, Hardtop and Mainframe went against orders and speed off to intercept the UCM that has dropped the Mint, after it was through plundering it, in the middle of the road blocking the C.O.P.S. from pursuing it even further. But Hardtop and Mainframe was able to avoid getting flattened by the building thanks to Hardtop's driving skills and pursue the UCM further with Mainframe using her computer wizardry to hack her way into the UCM's computer system while Bulletproof tried to sneak in to rescue the 2 C.O.P.S. from the crooks. However, Buzzbomb saw him and alerted Turbo to Bulletproof who faced off against him a moment later, trading blows with him until Bulletproof trips over one of Buzzbomb's long arms and finds himself hanging on for dear life at the edge of the UCM hovering over the city. That was when Mainframe succeeds hacking the UCM's computer and the vessel began to fly out of control. Bulletproof made it back inside the vessel and rescued Bullseye and Mirage while the crooks made their escape. But while Buzzbomb hides in the dumpster from Highway passing by, Krusher and Turbo parachuted themselves into the hands of the C.O.P.S. who made their first arrest on both of them. With a special computer jack attached to his cybernetic torso, Bulletproof reset the computer, giving the UCM just enough juice to get it back in control for Bullseye to safely made a bumpy landing in front of the precinct. Thus, foiling the plans of Big Boss for the very first time.

Later, Bulletproof had a word with Mainframe and Hardtop who thought they were in trouble because they disobeyed orders, but Bulletproof overlooked that. He just wanted to tell them how impressed he was over their performance and wishes to invite the rookies into the C.O.P.S. team, giving Donny Brooks and Tina Cassidy their own special C.O.P.S. codenames of Hardtop and Mainframe. The rookies celebrated for a moment and then turned to Bulletproof who expresses how proud he was over his team who did splendidly. Even though Big Boss has escaped being caught, Bulletproof assures his team that one day together, he and his team will put the Big Boss behind bars along with all of his crooks for good.
