Milestone (Japanese developer)

Milestone (Japanese developer)

.

Milestone are made up of Japanese NAOMI arcade developers who left COMPILE to form their own company, mostly because Compile wasn't too interested in shooting games like in the past. Despite having worked for COMPILE, they are still a very new videogame development team, but they have proven to be able to pull off good ports to many home videogame systems and create very fun and appealing Shoot 'em up titles for both NAOMI and Dreamcast alike.

Their first release was "Chaos Field" in 2004, which was ported to Dreamcast. Later they ported "Radilgy" ("Radio Allergy" in North America) and released it on February 16 2006. Both titles were ported for both the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube, with the later console seeing releases in North America by O~3 Entertainment. Their most recent game, "Karous", was released on March 8, 2007 on the Sega Dreamcast, and a Wii release is planned. Karous will most likely be the last released game for the Dreamcast.
