Mascot and school colours

The mascot of Charles P. Allen High is the Cheetah. A new cheetah costume was purchased in 2009, retiring the old cheetah costume which had been used for 10 years prior.

The Cheetah Spot

The Cheetah Spot is a school store located in a newly painted shed in the cafetorium. It was previously located on the second floor, and before that on the third floor of the school building. It sells 'Cheetawear', school clothing.^{[citation needed]}
