Pabianice [IPA-pl|p|a|b|j|a|'|n|i|c|e] is a town in central Poland, with 71,313 inhabitants (2004). Situated in the Łódź Voivodeship, it is the capital of Pabianice County. It lies about 10 km southwest of downtown Łódź and belongs to the metropolitan area centered on that city.
