Gil Aldema

Gil Aldema

Gil Aldema was born in Tel Aviv, Palestine, in 1928. He graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and from Mannes College of Music, New York (Artist's Diploma). Teacher and conductor; for some years instructor at Hadassim Youth Village, later program producer and arranger for "Kol-Israel", Israel Broadcasting Authority. Composed and arranged songs for folk-ensembles and choirs. In 2004 he was awarded the Israel Prize.
