The SS "Charles Bulfinch" (Hull Number 999) was a
Liberty shipbuilt in the United Statesduring World War II. She was named after Charles Bulfinch, an American architect whose major works include MassachusettsState House in Bostonand the completion of the United States Capitolin Washington, D.C.
The ship was laid down on
May 14, 1943, then launched on June 10, 1943. The ship survived the war and was scrapped in 1971.
