footnotes = Florida is a municipality and city in the Camagüey Province of Cuba. It is located km to mi|40|abbr=yes north-west of Camagüey, along the Carretera Central highway. The city was established in 1907, and the municipality was established in 1924.

The town has a library, several schools, primary and secondary. The Jose Marti primary school has been recently renovated. There is a general hospital and a pediatric hospital.
