HEC Montréal (standing for "École des Hautes Études Commerciales"), the affiliated business school of the
Université de Montréal, is the first management School of Canada. It holds accreditations from AACSB International (United States), EQUIS (Europe) and AMBA (United Kingdom), one of only two schools in North America to hold triple accreditationin management education.Fact|date=December 2007 The full name of HEC Montreal was École des Hautes Études Commerciales; the school was renamed HEC Montréal in 2002. The major language of instruction at HEC Montréal is French, but many courses are offered in English and Spanish. The school offers its HEC MBA program both in English and French with an option to take several courses in Spanish. HEC Montréal and the architectural consortium of Dan S.
