Zhydachiv ( _uk. Жидачів, _pl. Żydaczów) is a city in Lviv Oblast (province) in western Ukraine. It is the administrative center of the Zhydachivsky Raion (district), and is located at around coord|49|22|53|N|24|8|27|E |region:UA_type:city |display=inline,title.

The current estimated population is 11,800 (as of 2001). Zhydachiv stands on the Stryi River. It has 2 schools and 1 Ukrainian gymnasium.
