*April 30 - In his fourth career start, Chicago White Sox pitcher Charlie Robertson pitches the fifth perfect game in baseball history. Chicago tops the Detroit Tigers, 2-0, at Navin Field in Detroit.
*May 7 - Jesse Barnes of the New York Giants pitches a no-hitter in a 6-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.

October-December

*October 8 - The New York Giants defeat the New York Yankees, 5-3, in Game 5 of the World Series, to win their second consecutive World Championship, and third overall, four games to none (with Game 2 being declared a tie). As with the 1921 World Series, every game was played at the Polo Grounds since it housed both teams, with the home team alternating.
